Overview:

The Sexual Health Educator (SHE) Training Program is an educational and capacity-building opportunity for California educators working with youth in school, community, and clinical settings who desire to build their sexual health knowledge and education skills.

This two day in-person training in Fresno will include the following modules:

  • STD/HIV Review: Workshop for Educators Who Work with Youth
  • California Healthy Youth Act: Comprehensive Sexual Health and HIV Prevention Education Requirements
  • Minor Consent and Confidentiality for Sexual Health Services in CA
  • STD Data: U.S. and California
  • Teaching Sexual Health Education: Building Comfort and Capacity
  • Teaching Sexual Health Education: Facilitating Difficult Questions in the Classroom
  • Contraceptive Methods 

 

This Training is a two day training: August 8th & 9th, 2018, 8:00 am.-3:00 p.m. both days
