This webinar broadcast from the CA STD/HIV Prevention Training Center, in joint collaboration with UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies, will cover key PrEP topic areas including: a definition of PrEP, a brief overview of research supporting the use of PrEP, implementation and medical management issues, and reimbursement for care of patients on PrEP. This presentation will be led by Oliver Bacon, MD, MPH, of San Francisco Department of Public Health's PrEP Demonstration Project.

Recommended for physicians and other providers who treat high-risk HIV-negative patients.

Following the training, attendees will be able to:
1. Define PrEP and the population it best serves.
2. Discuss current research in support of PrEP.
3. List 3 steps toward integrating PrEP into their practice.
