The following webinars were developed to increase the knowledge and skills of providers working with clients concerned about HIV prevention issues as well as to increase their familiarity with available resources.
The National HIV/AIDS Strategy: Exploring the Impact on Local HIV Prevention Practices
This one hour webinar was presented by the California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center's CBA Program on August 4, 2011. We discussed the implications of the NHAS and related initiatives on local HIV prevention practices. Questions explored included:
- What changes in day-to-day service delivery have health departments and CBOs experienced or believe they will experience soon?
- How have prevention, care and treatment efforts been reorganized - if at all - at the local level?

It consists of: 1) an overview of CRCS, 2) an overview of CLEAR, and 3) suggestions on integrating CLEAR into CRCS. We review important considerations in the integration process, such as core elements, eligibility requirements, and evaluation components.

This one hour webinar was co-sponsored by the California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center and AIDS Project Los Angeles/Shared Action on June 8, 2010. The webinar provides an overview of the Community Level Interventions of the DEBI Project of the Centers for Disease Control. It was developed and conducted by staff of the CAPTC: AJ King, Coordinator of the Capacity Building Assistance Program, and Patrick Piper, Senior Trainer.
