Fundamentals of STDs in Clinical Practice

Given once per year, usually in February, for clinicians desiring in-depth, comprehensive information on sexually-transmitted diseases, presented by our expert faculty and guest specialists. STDs commonly seen in clinical practice and issues relevant to diagnosis and treatment are addressed, as well as HIV prevention and testing, substance abuse, stigma, population disparities, pharmacology, domestic violence, and sexual-history taking. Recommended in conjunction with the Male and Female Genital Exam Skills, Examination & Interpretation of Wet Preparations of Vaginal Specimens, and/or a Clinical Preceptorship.

Cardea Services designates this live activity for a maximum of 21.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) ™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity.

 This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education.

If you are requesting nursing contact hours, you must be in attendance for the entire training. No partial credit is allowed.
