What to expect this STD Expert Hour:

In this edition our Medical Director, Dr. Ina Park, will present discuss what's New in the CDC's 2015 STD Treatment Guidelines.

Learning Objectives: 
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
 
1. Update clinical practice to include changes in recommendations in the revised 2015 CDC STD Treatment Guidelines, to update their clinical practice.
2. Summarize issues related to gonorrhea drug resistance to ensure appropriate treatment and follow-up testing.
3. Describe the clinical diagnosis, staging, treatment, and ongoing management of syphilis, to ensure infections are appropriately diagnosed and treated.
4. Discuss STD screening recommendations for different populations including youth, pregnant women, gay men, and HIV-infected clients to improve patient outcomes.
