STD Overview for Clinicians

Practicing clinicians learn epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment, and management of STDs. This course is presented in an interactive format and incorporates case discussions. Hours: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. CME fee: $0-$30 (refer to particular date); free nursing contact hours

Center for Health Training designates this educational activity for a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits ". Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Institute for Medical Quality and the California Medical Associations CME Accreditation Standards (IMQ/CMA) through the Joint Sponsorship of the Center for Health Training (CHT) and the California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center. CHT is accredited by IMQ/CMA for issuing AMA PRA Category 1 Credits" for physicians. The California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing Provider Number CEP 14547 for 7.2 (6-hr. course) or 8.4 (7-hr. course)contact hours.
