Continuing Education
If you are in the medical, nursing, social science, or health education field, you can receive continuing education credits from the CA PTC. Certain courses have been planned and implemented in accordance with the Institute for Medical Quality and the California Medical Association's CME Accreditation Standards (IMQ/CMA) through the Joint Sponsorship of the California STD/HIV Prevention Training Center and Center for Health Training (CHT). CHT is accredited by IMQ/CMA for issuing AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM for physicians. Through co-sponsorship with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, Health Promotion Section, continuing education units (CEU) for Certified Health Education Specialists are also available. Our courses meet the qualifications for continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Contact the CA PTC for further information.
